Phillip Michael Hook

Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, Phillip Michael Hook spent most of his childhood near Columbia, Missouri in the small town of Boonville.  He received an MFA in painting and drawing from the University of Missouri-Columbia.  As an undergraduate at Columbia College, he earned both a BFA in painting and drawing and a BA in Individual Studies with an emphasis in English.  Mr. Hook has frequently exhibited work throughout the Midwest and has been selected to participate in many juried competitions throughout the United States. His work is in private and corporate collections including:

 Mr. Hook is a Professor of Art in the Department of Art at the University of South Dakota, Vermillion, SD.  Michael lives in Vermillion with his wife, Jonie.
